Yeah! It is Christmas, once again! But, what actually means Christmas?

1. Christmas means cities full of flashing lights multicoloured;
2. Christmas means we should have to "seem" that everything is OK;
3. Christmas means family gathered around table and dinner gets too late!;
4. Christmas means a son-daughter who comes from too distant land...;
5. Christmas means go shopping at last minute... to get bargains!;
6. Christmas means giving and receiving gifts (wow, too cheap!). Sorry!;
7. Christmas means offices plotting parties and "faking" care bout employee;
8. Christmas means employee "fake" he-she loves, loves very much the office;
9. Christmas means a father dressing himself up as Santa;
10.Christmas means a son-daughter of 8 years "faking" to believe in Santa!

Christmas, matter of fact, means: birth of J.Christ. He can born and re-born again and again anytime - and NOT only in December each year!

AIRBUS A400M launched in Sevilla - Spain!

Today, 11.12.2009, in Sevilla (Spain), the big A400M AIRBUS military transporter took off for the first time!

Presences of king Juan Carlos and lots of VIPs (wow!).

The attentive reader might have been asking himself: why pastor PCSampaio has placed this article on his blog-site!?

1. Total of 184 A400M will be flying in the world;
2. It costs a lot of money!;
3. It it the contribution for world peace!?
4. Why more military planes like this one!?

Frankly speaking: I like planes... By the way, the plane was invented by a brazilian: Alberto Santos Dumont, though our friends in USA insist on sayingn that Right Brothers were first to use a plane! France and the whole world acknowledged A.S.Dumont as the unique-real inventor of plane.

Bloodthirstymen hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright (Prov 29.10)

This photo shows that pirates have total control-domain in Somalia.

They take control of vessels and require big amount of money to release them!

Young men have come into this new "business" in Somalia. The whole world knows about it but has NOT done much to stop pirates - until today.

1. Whom should we claim to?
2. What shipping lines have been doing?
3. What insurance companies have been doing? Dozens of vessels have come into hands of - dear Lord! - pirates in XXI century!

I simply do NOT believe that this is something of present times and NOT NOT of medieval times! Who claims to be Capt. Jack Sparrow of today's times!? There is something wrong out there! Someone must find it... urgently!

Nowadays mankind does not have time to think - even to think over important things! People do not care for others; but themselves!

The "next" is too far away...!!! It seems the world is coming to an end today, because it failed "yesterday"! Some other people do care, but exclusively for their own interests!

Christianism is: caring for one another. Sharing everything. Giving... If "that" (sharing-giving) is true about christianism... then why people ask so much?

Why on earth there is so much individualism? Well, individualism is part of some cultures - like american, for example! Orientals are different...

So, what to do, pastor? Try this:

1. Prayers
2. Intercession
3. Thanksgiving
4. Caring for one another
5. Being a true christian (praxis)

By doing the above, something extra-ordinary will happen in your ordinary life!

Let's face the truth: many people keep mourning throughout lives over their sins, confessing the same ones again and again and insisting with pastors to keep praying on their behalf! Come on! We should all focus on Him and not not on ourselves!

The only requirement for a daily forgiveness and cleansing is an equally daily confession (1 Jn 9). We all sin every single day! The Bible says that we are redeemed and forgiven "according to the riches of His grace" (Eph.17). Well, that's enough for me; I do not know about you! Hope yes-so!

Nowadays, some tender note (money) stamps the sentence: in God we trust. That's for real!? Well, NOT for Brazil which elected a female-idol for saint patroness decades ago! What a shame! What a disaster! Nevertheless, there are about 35 million saints in terra brasilis who actually know God-Almighty and his son Jesus Christ as the Only and begotten saviour. Amem!

1. Watch out! Do not trust everyone - no way!
2. Take care! Do not be led by appearance(s), at all!
3. Stop feeling guilty once and for all. God already forgave all all your sins
4. Start acting as a new person in Jesus Christ
5. Put your faith in a great God - Jesus, the man and the God.

Martin Luther put it this way in the first of the 95 theses he nailed to the door of Wintttenberg church: "When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said 'repent', we willed that the entire life of a believer be one of repentance.

Here is the secret: the change of mind. The change of heart. The change of a lifestyle. Even being secure in Christ, we are usually and not always repenting - that's the bad news! God's eyes are everywhere. When we sin, we should repeat as quickly as possible. Do not take too much time thinking that He will forget - eheheh! He will NEVER FORGET, unless you confess and receive forgiveness of God.

1. Acknowledge that you sinned;
2. Ask for forgiveness of God;
3. Feel in your heart and spirit that you are now a new child of God;
4. Act, act as a child of God.

Believe in the gospel and you will be saved.

VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING

Jesus was always surrounded by many people. Where he went, crowds and crowds followed Him. They were not actually interested in the preachings, new moral and ethics Jesus was bringing in. People were astonished by miracles and wonders He performed, as nobody else before, never, ever!

Nowadays, the picture lingers on: we, believers or not, have been living among thousands (if not millions) of people. But, down inside, we feel the great need to go off to some solitary place and re-charge our spirit from God-Almighty. The power must come from the ever-present Spirit. Lonliness may be present among thousands. This happens very often with anyone, anywhere. Well, how can we get healed from lonliness?

1. Try meeting God (look after some serious church nearby);
2. Try knowing God through the pages of the Bible;
3. Try hearing God through preachings, musics, Bible, etc.;
4. Try talking to God. HE will love hearing from you... It's been a long time, buddy!;
5. Try being led by God.

Before I forget: very early in the morning, try talking to HIM. He wakes up very very early...!!!

Some time ago, we use to hear that high level of unemployment was something of third world country...!!!

Today we realize that it has come to doors of the so-called first world, due to the global crisis.

Millions of people are - right at this very moment - unemployed after working all their lives! Worse of all: people at age of 50-60 (or over!) are now without knowing what to do!

Now, it does not actually matter much the guilty for the current economic situation (we all know the country which started the whole thing - regrettably!). But, a certain president declared: the party is over! Well, he was not wrong, at all!

Let's name a guilty anyway: the greed problem. Why not be a true christian: be content-glad with what one has!? All right, pastor, so what to do now!?

1. Try some prayers. He loves to hear your begging voice;
2. Try getting some more qualifications-trainings etc. It will help a lot!;
3. Try adjusting your life to exactly what you earn - not more, never, ever!;
4. Try giving thanks to HIM. He will help you to go thru this valley...

Ah, before I forget: learn how to share. HE loves his children sharing...!!!

Honesty, frankness, confidence should be some of the 'evidences' of a true christian.

If you are tempted to break a promise, remind yourself: I have a treaty!

Why in the world of 6 billion people only 2 billion are christians! Think of it!

It is said that we all have some "kind of faith"! Something inside - you know it!

Many people say that faith is sort of "escape from reality". We cannot - by no means - agree to this. Bible says in Hebrews 11.32-38 that men and women chose to endure torture rather than renounce their spiritual convictions. Today, missionaries around the world are a real proof that the same faith is still alive - for ever and ever!

Our faith in Christ is not an escape at all. On the contrary, it is the way to endure the tortures of this stressed and crazy world we live in! Faith is often built during troubles!

1. Be advised that you have faith. Look inside of you! Bring it up to surface;
2. Be advsied that you should put your faith into action - today, not tomorrow;
3. Be advised that through faith you will be be a conqueror - yes, in Jesus's name;
4. Be advsied that you should NOT listen to other voices, but Christ's solely;
5. Be advised that it is time enough you move away from your escape.

More and more faith; not faith no more!

Heavenly Father has given a gift to every one - at least one, please! He provides all we need so we might carry out our responsibilities (1Co 12.6-7).

We should be frank-honest enough to acknowledge this reality: God actually takes care of us. He did not - by no means - abandon us in this crazy world.

Ok, pastor, so what!? Open your eyes and read below:

1. What have you been doing with the gifts God gave you?;
2. Have you been using the gifts to the glory of the Father?
3. Have you been using the gifts "somehow" to your entire benefit & satisfaction? And His satisfaction!?;
4. What!? You say you did not even know that you had "some-any" gift!? Helooo!!! Wake up from your tomb, pleaaasseeee!;
5. Ok: time to start using your gifts to Him - mainly.

God is ready to perform miracles in your life! Are you ready for them? Really!?

Gods word - from beginning to end - points out the many mistakes made by mankind. No big surprise, huh!?

1. Adam and Eve failed;
2. Abram lied about Sarai;
3. Moses grew angry;
4. David comitted adultery and murder;
5. Peter denied knowing Jesus etc.

We should all learn from mistakes of these figures. We should not - by no means - comitt the same mistakes.

Those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it - the worst way! It is all true!

Come on, be creative! Stop comitting the same mistakes again and again! Better saying: stop them once and for all!

Life is yours to enjoy! The Bible is yours to enjoy! Live longer! Jesus loves you!

Yes, this is a very weird and - allow me to say, please - funny passage! But, in fact, God can even make a donkey to speak! Wow!

Let's be frank-honest to ourselves: at times, all we need is silence... But, God has firm and strange ways to talk to mankind - even thru a donkey!

Since the beginning, God has uttered thru prophets etc. But people usually do not pay much attention! Lately, God spoke thru Jesus, being Jesus God Himself!

The world is composed of about 7 billion people. Only 2 billions are christians - well, they say they are!

IF repeat IF God could make a donkey to speak, what God can do for you? Points to ponder:

1. God-Almighty can do anytthing, but fail;
2. God can make any animal to speak at the right time to the right person;
3. God can turn your darkness into light;
4. God can set you free from your burdens;
5. God can direct you to new waters, to health, prosperity and well-being;
6. God can form you and transform you at any time. But you need to believe. Believing is the secret!;
7. God has been knocking at the door of your heart until today! Will you let Him in?;
8. God can forgive all your sins - I said: all. You do not need to suffer anymore - never, ever!;
9. God wants to hear you today and now. Do not waste your time. Act now, today. Today is the day of salvation!
10. God loves you very very much.

What kind of "proof" have you been waiting? That a donkey speaks out again!? For God's sake, buddy! Wake up to reality.

3. He/she looks after me all the time;
4. He/she feels jealousy...!!!

Well, this is good - yeah, good, but it does not mean he/she loves you indeed!

Really!? So, pastor, how should I expect him/her to "prove" love towards me?

1. Time will say it...;
2. His/her actions towards you will say - no doubt!

Do not get too excited, baby! Do NOT judge by the looking/appearance...!!!

Monday is not a good day to lots of people...! Well, that's what they say!

They would prefer jumping from Sunday directly to Friday... ehehe!! But life is not that simple - buddy!

God himself made the whole world in 6 days and got a snap ( a rest!) on 7th day. See!? God is wise.

God is light. There is no darkness in Him at all.
What have you been doing lately? Walking under some shadows!?
Get rid of shadows, right now! Start walking under the shelter of God-Almighty
and you will see what happens! What!? I hear you saying that you already have your own religion? So what!? See this:

1. Religion does not save anyone;
2. Religion is an attempt to ammend the "crack" made back in paradise...;
3. Religion comes from "religare" (Latin, which means amending again);
4. Religion should make things better; not bad; not worse...;
5. IF IF your religion does not make you good-better; then change of religion TODAY.

Do something good today: read the Bible. You will meet Jesus in there! He is ready to help you and - wow!, save you. Have a blessed Monday and working week!

Humans keep grumbling against each other all the time(s). Things should not be so - no way!

The Judge, the real Judge - not you, buddy!, is standing at the door! He will judge us all!

Wow! What should I do, pastor? Hum - try this:

A. Stop grumbling against brothers;
B. Start talking good at brothers/people, in general;
C. Wake up to reality: you have a short, very short life... 80/90 years, at most!;

5. Millions still spending money as if nothing, nothing happened!

We should all remember that our home is not actually here on earth! We are ETs trying to phone home... Phone out there rings and nobody gets it! Hum - feeling homeless!? Too sad!?

Jesus Christ said that these should be the beginning - oh Lord!, just the beginning of the end. The end is about to come... Get ready to meet the Lord! Eternal only God/Jesus. He loves you. Do you love Him?

Father, we know the end is about to come!
Father, we want to be with you, with you only!
Father, help us to be ready to follow you on the rapture of the church world-wide.

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant (...) but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our

Straight to the point: have you ever met some rich and humble person!? Really!? When!? Ah, many years ago!? Not anymore!? See!? On the whole, the rich thinks to possess the entire world (and people included)! Arrogance is something to the soul-spirit of the richy!

Yet, the fancy boy and the fancy girl should understand - once and for all - that money is not everything. Money goes/blows in the wind... Humans should use money and not to be used by the money! But what happens, actually, since the foundation of the world is:

1. Humans run after and for the money, 24h a day!
2. Humans are capable of killing for the money, since ever!
3. Humans judge people by the bank account, by the car, by the clothes, etc.
4. Humans are about to destroy the own family (M.Jackson case) because of - oh, God! Money!
5. Humans are no more hu-mans, but animals.

Ok, pastor - what is the cure, then?

1. Put your concern in Jesus Christ - the living God.
2. Put your expectations on Him and start praying and doing something...
3. Nothing comes for free! Jesus freely provides you with salvation, but He paid high price!
4. Do your part in the deal, He will do his - simple like that!
5. Let the money work for you; not YOU work for the money...

Wake up to reality - yeah, the old reality: you will come to an end!

Do your best while you are still alive. Hum - you have some, say, 80/90 years only!

This verse starts with a "See to it, brothers"! This is an alert! Yeah - to all mankind! But who listens to it!? Just a few: 2.000.000.000 in a world of 6.000.000.000 !!!

A sinful heart actually - and disgracefully - turns away anyone from the living God. The world is full of "attractions", although at the end one will get to know that nothing is free - there is a very very high price to be paid. Yet, Jesus Christ already paid the highest price of all: about 2009 years ago! I am not writing about a "historic Jesus". In fact, I am writing about the real Christ who should dwell in your heart - if you only accepted Him as your personal saviour.

The world is full of religions. Every one of them "promises" some kind of salvation - huh? Wow! How to know the "good one"!?

1. Check it out! Go searching... you will find it (Him);
2. Check out the founders of religions: who were they? What they did? Why?;
3. Check out the christianism. There is a logic + faith in this religion! Read Romans chapter 12;
4. "Try" saying a prayer... He will certainly listen to those who are in search of Him (something, someone, okay!);
5. Now that you found Jesus, then you are my brother in a very special way. Welcome home, buddy!

The secret: the heart!
The key: a good and believing heart!
Something to be avoided: lack of faith!

"I will punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the Lord (...)" Jeremiah 21.14

Most people think that "punishment" lies back into the past -medieval times, etc. No, not at all - baby! God is overlooking everyone of us, from high above, but - at same time - He is so very much close to us that we can almost "feel" His presence.

In fact, some people "feel Him"; others do not - never, ever! Why is that so!?

1. The world is composed of about 6 billion people;
2. Only 2 billion is made up of christians...;
3. Maybe not even 10% remember that He searches us - everywhere, anytime;
4. Certainly it is about time for you to wake up to reality. He is alive!

The best inheritance you may actually give to your offsprings is: love, education, fundamentals, faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life.

Next time you feel yourself full of hatred and rage... Stop and count 1 thru 10!

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive" (Proverbs 28.28).

In fact, it seems to me that the whole Latin America seems to be determined/destined to perish with wicked people rising to power almost all the time(s)...!!! oh, dear Lord!

Honduras suffers from this problem right now! Tyrannical rulers lack judgment - mainly - the force/power from the poll(s)! People - one who actually thinks correctly - do not agree with present situation of Honduras.

Now, what to do?

1. Zelaya must come back into force/power. He was the elected, nobody else;
2. Times of tyrannical ruler/soldier/general is no longer allowed - neither desirable, at all;
3. People of Honduras must decide their own destiny.

Love must be sincere...

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good" (Romans 12.9)

All you need is love - once sang John Lennon and other singers.

They still do! Well, they are not actually wrong! But not the "free love" these singers used to proclaim!

Love implies responsibility and loyalty - above all! Love must be sincere and unique!

We, human beings, do not have much time on earth - maybe 80/90 years, at the most!

Therefore, we should cling to what is good; not bad!

Do not waste your time hating people. Hate what is evil!

Start doing what is good.

This (the good things) will benefit many people - starting from yourself!

Come on! It is never ever too late to cling to what is good! Forget yesterday - this is past now! Forget tomorrow (you are not still there...!!!).

Concentrate on today! You live each day and each day you must fight and win! Jesus will help you - always.

"How long, Oh Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you "Violence" but you do not save?" (Habakkuk 1.2)

Matter of fact, millions of people suffer on a daily-basis... and call for help, and cry out, and do all kinds of things - but even so are not listened! Why is that so?

1. Lord actually sees all of us, regardless of places, situations, etc.;
2. The point is: there is a time for Him to act;
3. We are always in a hurry and want things to be "fast-made".

Well, we should not fight against Him - not at all! We will never, ever win! Yet, we should all be humble and humbly wait for the time the Lord might act towards us! He wants to act now - today is the day! It all depends on our faith and on the good-willing of God Himself.


We all need help at a certain (or many!) point of our lives! When in troubles, we should not be shy to wave a flag with a sign: "Help wanted". God is love and it (love) may come from many different directions... We never know! We find helpers today. Tomorrow, we might be equally helpers! Help someone in need today - today.

Todays prayer
Father, help me help others, for I know that I shall need help from them someday. Fill my heart with joy and love and willing to help people in need. In Jesus name. Amen.

Why not changing something - for a while?

I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus (Acts 20.21).

The word "repentance" is of your knowledge - for sure! You might have heard it a lot of times... Therefore, I will go straight to the point:

In fact all religions "live" out of repentance! Let me explain: they all need new converts, that is, people who repented from their "ordinary" lives and turned to something (or someone!) more spiritual... All religions (or sect - yes!) celebrate when someone comes into their sanctuaries. That is for sure!

However, there is only one religion that clearly say that God and angels have a party in heavens every time he (or she) turns from his (or her) life to God - that is christianism! No one else! Hum... is that any good? For sure! God and angels would not loose their precious times when something-someone worthless...

Every religion says to preach the truth! But where is the truth, asked Pilate to Jesus on John 18.38. After that, Pilate went out again to the Jews and said: "I find no basis for a charge against him". Sure! No basis at all! Jesus had said before: "I am the way, and the truth and the life". Unfortunately, Pilate had not such an understanding... Still today, 19th November 2006, not all people actually understand what Jesus said...

Truth! What truth? Christ - for sure! He said: "You are right when saying that I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me". Well, let me ask you - dear reader -: are you on the side of truth, or not? You say it! Do not say: "all religions lead to God", for this is NOT true - at all! This is "truly" and old but wrong saying.

We are very much "used" to our ordinary lives... and, most of the times, we avoid any change(s). Let us be honest: some people just "love" the way life goes on... regardless to where it will lead up - at the end... To change-turn takes time and lot of efforts. People usually are afraid of any change... But listen: even mother nature changes-turns, that is, we have spring, summer, fall and winter! Four times in a year nature changes-turns! Why dont you - at least once? Have you already tried some changing? And nothing "good" came out of it? Have you actually tried hard? Okay, in case nothing "good" happened, then I invite you to try again. This time, put your faith on Him (Jesus Christ). Things may happen now, my friend... It is worth trying.

Have you ever asked yourself:

1. Why "things" do not change for the better to you?
2. Why "things" just keep being the same all the time?
3. Why "things" or persons do not change towards ME?

Now let me ask you:

1. What have you done to change-turn positively until today?
2. What have you done to change-turn from an "ordinary" situation to an "extra-ordinary" situation?
3. What have you done to be happier?

I could obviously ask many questions... but: that is enough! Time is running out for you! Do not ever think you have much time... Time runs out easily and steadily... Things happen very very fast... You should "move" fast. Do not stand still... If you stand still... someone faster than you will get the prize! Okay: who gets a Nobel Prize? Oh, someone very intelligent! Yes - you are right. But just ONE on each particular field gets the prize; not many! A Nobel awarded gets about EUR 1.300.000,00! Wow! Not bad - huh? "Move" in such a way that you get your Nobel... Your Nobel could be: a) your peace of mind b) healthiness c) prosperity d) you name it...

Frankly speaking, no Nobel should be compared to Him - Jesus Christ. All you have to do is to accept Him as your personal saviour. That is it: your Nobel is available to you - 24h a day! Do not loose your time! Hum... I hear you saying you already have a religion? Wonderful! Great! One question: has this religion changed you for the better? No? Not enough? Okay: then change your religion! That is simple! Religion will not lead you up to heavens! No way. Jesus is the way - today and ever. A change is for-ever. A change should only be for the better and not for the worse! A change requires action-attitude! Wake up to reality - while there is time...

What your religion has been doing good for you until today?

How is that!? Simple: if you have a nice-and-friendly family, chances are that you might grow up bearing a solid base-foundation. You might be a mature person, ready to face adversity and conquer it all... On the other hand, if you have too many problems in your own living-room, chances are that you might grow up as imature - a person full of anxiety, hatred, etc. But, do not be so sad! There is a way out of the caos. Yes - there is, indeed...

Religion, the true religion manifested in the person of Jesus Christ.

He said: I am the truth, and the way and the life.

Have you been lost lately? Have you been wandering around with no place to go? Have you been in doubt about what to do in your life? Millions have been facing the same thing. No big news! But you should not worry too much! Not at all! Deliver your life to Him (Jesus Christ) and He will take care of you...

Hey, hey - a warning: do not ever think that you should not do your part in the deal, buddy! You should search, you should seek, you should see the chances that God has been daily giving you... and, most of the times, you keep your eyes blind - blind - blind! Come on: wake up to reality! Open up your eyes!

Prayer of today:
Father, I thank you for all the chances that you have been giving to me. Open up my eyes to see - to see! I have been longing for a meaningful life and I do know that I can only find a full and rich life in You!. In Jesus name. Amem.

At times, we say things we come to regret later on - on same day, sometimes!

Yes - we're in middle of year 2009!

In the beginning of Jan/09, we must have made lots of projects!
But then we all realized that things should not be so easy!
Something happened: global financial crisis, starting from USA...
Now, what to do:

1. Start praying hard to hold your job, your company, yourself;
2. Start doing your best, start offering something different, etc.;
3. What? You think you do not have faith enough!? Yes, you do have it buddy!;
4. He, right up in heavens, believes you! It is time you start believing Him;
5. Remember: half of year has passed by! We have more 6 monthes ahead;
6. Stand still. Be firm!

It is time you start thinking on heavenly things; not only earthenly things.
