"Better is a dry morsel, and quieteness therewith, than a house full of sacrifices with strife" (Prov 17.1).

The reading of the above proverb dicloses a deep truth usually hidden: the prosperity, the abundance, the consumism have been preached as something "godly" and should be achieved at any cost! This is big lie!

In millions of residences there is abundance but not life, but not peace, but not contentment, but not respect, worse of all: but not love! Money is not everything.

Well, what to do pastor?

1. Search for peace inside of you. Search peace in God;
2. Re-search your priorities: to have or to be; peace or "crazy life";
3. Do not consider many words people say about you. Worse: they do against you;
4. Be selective in choosing friends. Friends indeed are like pearls, not easy...;
5. Deliver yourself to God. He knows what is best for you.

Do not follow this world. Do not follow any "fashion"! Be creative: copy what best suits you and then re-creative your own way of living!

Have a blessed day! Keep coming back for more! God is good!

Fortaleza - Brazil, April 8th, 2011

Dear readers,

It's been some good time since I last updated this blog! I've been working too much to pay bills... and time is to short!

Anyway, I thank you for paying me your visits! Life has been hard in the Tropics and not not a paradise, as pictured-dreamt by 99% of foreigners, when thinking about life in Brazil!.

This week, a son-of-devil, about 20 years old, came into the same school he studied before (Rio de Janeiro) and with the use of 2 (two) guns he killed over 11 kids and injured over 20! Complete disaster! We, brazilians, innocently thought that this kind of tragedy was something only in US + Europe, etc! Then, we realised that, as I said above, life is too hard here, too!

But, God is merciful and will confort the families, as we pray for them!

I see some people in Internet defending the use of guns, training with guns etc etc etc. Tst tst tst! This will lead us nowhere! The son-of-devil had an easy access to guns... and he did what he did! Governments must rpt must elaborate rules about the purchase and use of guns. Brazil will - now, regrettably - discuss about guns in the Congress! Yes, dear reader, we are actually a bit late: say 100 years late!

God bless you! Keep coming back!

At nights, I usually preach the word of God here! Monday thru Thursday, 21h30 - 22h brazilian time! Watch it!
